General-purpose crypto wallets were made for coins that anyone can send to anyone. A tokenized building doesn't work that way. It is a security: it has an issuer, a claim on a specific property, investors who must be eligible to hold it, and often a custodian holding it for them. The Ioniqx Wallet is built around those facts.
One codebase for iOS, Android and a Chrome/Firefox browser extension. It is in active development. This page describes how it is designed to work.
The wallet's home screen is a portfolio of properties, not a list of coin balances. Every screen is designed around what an RWA investor needs to see and what the blockchain will actually enforce.
Each holding shows the building it represents and the claim you hold on it, such as equity, senior debt or direct title. The wallet reads both from the token itself, so two tokens on the same building with very different risk are never shown as the same thing.
Rental income and other pro-rata payouts arrive in USDC. The activity feed lists distributions, trades and transfers together, so you can see what the asset has paid you.
Your KYC status, accreditation and on-chain eligibility appear on screen. They are not cosmetic: the token's transfer hook checks the same state before any transfer settles, so the wallet shows the same rules the chain will apply.
Browse primary offerings you are eligible for, with the issuer's documents and key figures one tap away.
When an offering opens a redemption window, you give notice by signing with your wallet. The signature is your instruction, and ioniqx records the notice against your holding.
The same wallet runs on iOS, Android and as a Chrome or Firefox extension, so the app you check on your phone is the one that signs in your browser.
A token's name and ticker can say anything. The wallet doesn't rely on them. It finds real estate tokens by reading an open classification standard, the RWA Asset Classification and Data Discovery draft submitted to the Solana Foundation, and checks who vouches for each answer. Any issuer's token can be found this way, not only those issued on ioniqx.
Every conforming token carries its classification in its own metadata, written when the token is created and permanent from then on: the asset class (real estate, treasury, private credit and so on), the claim the holder has (equity, preferred equity, senior or mezzanine debt, direct title, and others), and optionally the jurisdiction and the issuer's Legal Entity Identifier.
An accountable party signs an on-chain attestation of that classification through the Solana Attestation Service. Its address is derived from the token itself, so anyone can look it up without an indexer. Attestations expire, which keeps them fresh.
The token points to a signed discovery document published by the issuer. It names where to find a summary, offering documents and NAV. The wallet treats it as verified only if its signature matches the key named in the on-chain attestation. HTTPS proves which domain served the document. The signature proves who wrote it.
Browsing reads only public chain data. The issuer isn't contacted, and doesn't learn what you looked at, until you open a token's detail page and ask for its documents.
Classification tells you what an asset is. It never decides who may hold it. Eligibility stays in the token's own transfer rules, so incorrect display data can't let an ineligible wallet in.
Many investors, especially institutions and advisers' clients, don't hold their own keys. A qualified custodian does. Ioniqx keeps who holds the key separate from whom the asset belongs to, so custody works without blurring who the owner is.
A custody account links one beneficial owner to a wallet the custodian controls. Accreditation, US-person status and jurisdiction are always read from that owner, even though the custodian's wallet is the one on-chain.
A custodian goes through the same KYB review as an issuer, and must also be an accepted type with a custody agreement on file.
